What sets Power Pilates apart is the greater emphasis on added resistance. Alongside classic bodyweight and flow-based Pilates movements, the session incorporates light weights, Pilates balls, and resistance bands to challenge the muscles in a different way, encouraging increased strength and muscular endurance. This makes Power Pilates a great complement to your regular Pilates Fitness class — offering a more strength-focused experience while still maintaining the mindful control, alignment, and quality of movement that Pilates is known for. Suitable for a wide range of abilities, Power Pilates helps improve movement quality, body awareness, and overall fitness, leaving you feeling stronger, more balanced, and energised.
